Naviance has been around since 2002 and has deep integrations with PowerSchool SIS (same parent company) and direct eDocs/transcript sending via Common App and Parchment — both are on our roadmap. We currently support manual transcript tracking, and full automated eDocs integration is planned. For SIS (Student Information Systems), Naviance has a native PowerSchool connection and Xello supports multiple SIS platforms via Clever and ClassLink. Findmino supports both Clever and ClassLink — Clever SSO + Clever Secure Sync (Clever-certified) and ClassLink SSO + OneRoster nightly sync — that covers about 95% of US schools and virtually every major SIS including PowerSchool, Infinite Campus, Skyward, and Aeries. Students can log in directly from Clever Portal or ClassLink LaunchPad with one click. We also support Google Classroom roster import (connect and import in one click), Excel template import, CSV roster import, and manual account setup — getting a pilot class running takes about 5 minutes. For scholarship search, Naviance partners with Sallie Mae for a large database. We take a different approach: hundreds of curated national, state, and university-specific scholarships with profile-based matching and monthly updates — but more importantly, we know that local scholarships often give students the best chances. That's why school coordinators can build and manage their own local scholarship lists, visible to all their students. This combination of a curated national database + school-managed local lists gives students the best of both worlds. They also have historical admission data (scattergrams) from thousands of schools — our College Fit Analyzer uses a different approach based on your academic profile vs. college statistics. In terms of data, we've already surpassed Naviance: 5,500+ colleges (vs. ~4,600) and 1,100+ career profiles (vs. ~800). Naviance and Xello hold SOC 2 Type II certification. We use the same security infrastructure (Auth0, MongoDB Atlas — both SOC 2 certified) and provide a full Data Processing Agreement, FERPA/COPPA/PIPEDA compliance documentation, and self-service data export and deletion. Findmino is a Member of the Access 4 Learning (A4L) Community, contributing to interoperability (SIF, OneRoster) and data privacy (NDPA v2.3) standards. Our SOC 2 certification is planned as we scale.
