Compliance Frameworks
FERPA
We act as a "school official" with a "legitimate educational interest" under 34 CFR § 99.31(a)(1). Student education records are protected and never shared without authorization.
COPPA
Schools provide consent on behalf of parents for students under 13. Individual accounts require age verification (13+). SSO students are verified through the school's SIS.
PIPEDA
Full Canadian privacy compliance with age-appropriate consent, data minimization, transparent processing, and deletion rights for all Canadian users.
