Help roofers by performing duties requiring less skill. Duties include using, supplying, or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work area and equipment.

AI is unlikely to directly replace the physical labor of roofing helpers within the next 5-10 years due to the complex, variable, and often hazardous nature of the work. Instead, AI will likely augment their roles by improving safety monitoring through drones and sensors, optimizing material logistics, and providing data for more efficient task planning. Helpers may find their work evolving to incorporate AI-powered tools for better safety, efficiency, and resource management, rather than being displaced.
