Impact of AI on this Job

AI will primarily augment Veterinary Assistants and Laboratory Animal Caretakers in the next 5-10 years, automating routine administrative tasks like scheduling and inventory management. This will free up time for more direct animal care, skilled assistance during procedures, and critical observation, enhancing efficiency and improving patient outcomes rather than replacing these essential human roles.
