A program that focuses on the aesthetics, techniques, and creative processes for designing and fashioning objects in one or more of the handcraft or folk art traditions, and that prepares individuals to create in any of these media.
Graduates can pursue careers as independent artisans, craft designers, conservators of historical artifacts, or art educators. Opportunities also exist in gallery management, exhibition design, and cultural heritage preservation.

AI tools can assist in design conceptualization, material sourcing, and marketing strategies for crafted goods. However, the core hands-on skill, aesthetic judgment, and human connection inherent in craft production remain largely unaffected and highly valued.
